12 thousand police will be recruited
12,000 new recruits will be made in Gujarat Police in the near future. In which new 597 PSI will be recruited. While 6600 constables including SRP will also be recruited. While 3302 posts of Armed Police Constable will be recruited, 1000 posts of SRP and 1013 posts of Jail Constable will be recruited. The biggest recruitment announcement in the history of the state will be announced. After the notification, the Police Recruitment Board will announce the exam dates. All exams will be conducted in fasttrack mode. The state government has instructed to complete the post-examination recruitment process before the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.It may be mentioned that, earlier in a program at the Police Academy, Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi made a big announcement. Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi announced many recruitments in the police department in the new year in the police selection letter program. Regarding the Gujarat Police recruitment, Harsh Sanghvi said that Gujarat Police will recruit 300 PSI and 9 thousand Lok Rakshas in the next year.
