Education Qualification

  • Sub Inspector (SI): Pioneer – Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Draughtsman – Matriculation pass with 2-year national tradesman certificate.
  • Communication – Degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Science with PCM.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI): Pharmacist – Intermediate pass with degree/diploma in Pharmacy.
  • Radiographer – 10+2 pass with 2-year Diploma in Radiodiagnosis.
  • Operation Theater Technician – 10+2 pass with Diploma in Operation Theatre.
  • Dental Technician – 10+2 pass with Diploma in Dental Hygienist.
  • Stenographer – Intermediate pass.
  • Head Constable (HC): Electrician – Matriculation pass with Diploma/Certificate in a related field.
  • Mechanic – Matriculation pass.
  • Steward – Matriculation pass.
  • Constable: Driver – 10th pass, Veterinary – 10th pass.
  • Carpenter/Blacksmith/Painter – 10th pass with 2 years of work experience.
  • Washerman/Barber/Tailor – 10th pass with 2 years of work experience.

Age Limit

The age limits for SSB Recruitment 2023 vary for different posts. The age range for Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) is 23-35 years, for Sub Inspector (SI) (Pioneer) it is up to 30 years, for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) it is 20-30 years, for Head Constable (HC) it is 18-25 years, and for Constable it is either 21-27 years or 18-25 years. Selection Process
