Eligibility Criteria Details

Education Qualification

1.PGT

  • Post-Graduation 50% B. Ed.

2.TGT

  • Graduation 50% B. Ed.

3.PRT

  • Graduation 50% Two-year D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. OR
  • candidates with B.Ed. can also apply with fulfillment of the condition of six-month PDPET/Bridge Course from an NCTE recognized institute as and when NCTE approves any institution to conduct the said course within two years of recruitment as PRT or beginning of the course whichever is later.

Age Limits

Age – As of 01 April 2023:

(i) Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be less than 29 yrs and PGT less than 36 years)
(ii) Experienced Candidates (Should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years): Below 57 years (in the case of Delhi 40 Yrs)

For PGT category the candidate should have worked as PGT/TGT for at least 5 years in the last 10 years for all candidates.
Experience gained as PRT in the same period shall not be counted for appointment as PGT.
For the post of TGT, experience gained as PRT shall however be accepted

Exam Patten Of PGT, TGT, PRT Recruitment

  • The Selection Procedure of Army Public School Recruitment 2022 consists of three stages – Online Screening TEST Exam, Interview and Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency. Before applying the application of Army Public School teacher vacancy candidates must read the full notification of APS teacher recruitment in detail. The Screening Exam will be conducted online in the MCQ format. For details see the table below:

How To Apply Army Public School Bharti 2022 ?

Candidates can apply through the link provided below or they can also apply through the official site of the Army Public School.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Army Public School or Army Welfare Education Society @https://www.awesindia.com/.. and Click on “OST (ONLINE SCREENING TEST) for Recruitment of Teachers in Army Public Schools. Registration Opened. Click below to Register”
Step 2: In a new tab, Read Sign Up instruction carefully and click on “Move to Next Step” and Then “Register Now”.
Step 3: Now, Login with your ID and Password to proceed further.
Step 4: Read all the detailed instructions carefully then open the “Online Registration” link.

Step 5: Enter your required details e.g. Name, Gender, Age, Contact Number, Category etc. in the prescribed format.
Step 6: Candidates need to pay the examination fee (Rs 500) online through Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net-banking etc.
Step 7: After payment of the fee, the candidates will be asked by the system to attach the following documents:
(i) Photographs and Signatures –

Upload Passport size Photograph:- (jpg or png, Maximum 50 KB).
Upload Signature:- (jpg or png, Maximum 50 KB).
(ii) Proof of Date of Birth
(iii) Certificates of Academic Qualifications
Step 8: Click on the “Submit” button after verifying the filled information.
Step 9: Once registration is completed, the candidates will get a confirmation that registration is successful. Candidates will also be informed through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.

Step 10: Download the copy of the application and take a print for future reference.
